We are not on Abbott formula, our supplier is a different company. However, we were also impacted by the shortage, as so many Abbott Medical formula customers placed orders with our company that when it came time to place our own order everything was back-ordered. We had to get an emergency bridge supply from our metabolics clinic, and reach out to other families to see if they had any supply they could share. I’m glad our label was able to provide to Abbott customers who were in great need, but the disruption went beyond just the Abbott metabolics customers and impacted other suppliers and families as well.
